WordGate uses Apple's Screen Time API to block apps until you answer vocabulary questions. On first launch, tap "Get Started" and grant Screen Time permission when prompted — this is required for blocking to work.
Go to Settings → Screen Time on your iPhone and make sure WordGate has permission. If it was revoked, open WordGate and re-authorize.
A daily reset runs at midnight. If your balance was wiped unexpectedly, try going to WordGate Settings → Danger Zone → Reset balance, then close and reopen the app.
This can happen after an iOS update. Open WordGate, remove and re-add the apps you want to block in My Apps, then test again.
Go to WordGate Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
